The get QuickBooks file button Creates the QuickBooks (iif) import file from the PayPal transaction history log download file, the QB Item List and your SimplePort settings. The iif file will be used as input by the QuickBooks iif import utility. This action prompts for a file name and location to save the resulting iif file.

After completing the PayPal data conversion SimplePort prompts for a file name and location to save the QuickBooks iif import file. The default file name is Download.iif, or the name entered in the QB iif Import File Name setting. The QuickBooks iif file import utility uses this file.

Suggestion: Save the SimplePort created iif file with a name that has meaning, like SP_01-31-09.iif, where SP means SimplePort followed by the ending date of the transactions listed in the file.

Firefox users, the file is saved to your desktop.

Saving the SimplePort iif file to your computer completes the SimplePort process. The actual QuickBooks iif file import process must be done by you, at your convenience.
