Simple Business Systems Privacy Policy…
Privacy and protection of individual user data is a primary concern for Simple Business Systems, Inc. (SBSI). We work diligently to protect confidentiality, restrict transfer of personal data, incorporate technical safeguards and identify privacy implications in any new service offered by SBSI. This policy extends to: collecting user information, how the information is used and shared, the kind of security procedures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under SBSI’s control and how to correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Collected Information…

Simple Business Systems is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in any way that varies from what is disclosed in this statement. SBSI collects information from our users in the subscription activation and product purchasing sections of our web site. You may receive information regarding new products or features, services and special offers we think you'll find valuable. Registration is required in order to subscribe to any of our services from this website, and a user must enter their contact information prior to completing any purchase. Users are required to provide their name, company, email address and phone number. This information is necessary in order for us to contact users about products on our site for which they have expressed interest. SBSI order forms request data from users including: Contact information such as name and shipping address. This information is used to verify the customer and to fulfill customers' orders. If we encounter difficulty when processing an order, this contact information is used to contact the user. This information is collected from a secure web page and encrypted for our customers' protection. It is not sold to anyone else under any circumstances. We may disclose this information to your credit card issuing bank if a fraudulent order is being investigated or disputed by you.
Specific SimplePort Privacy Policy…

Simple Business Systems does not save subscriber transaction data during the upload for conversion process.  SBSI does not own the subscriber transaction data (nor do we want to); the subscriber maintains sole ownership of their transaction data.  SBSI maintains the right to collect statistical/aggregate information on the use of SimplePort by our subscribers for marketing purposes and to improve subscriber and SimplePort support.
Correcting and Updating Personal Information…

You can add new information and update personal informarion on your account page of our site. You can also modify your login information and opt out of special marketing email delivery.

Users who no longer wish to receive our emails may opt-out of receiving these communications by sending an email to It may take up to ten days (10) days for your opt-out choices to be fully effective. Sharing Information…
We may use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. We value your privacy at SBSI, and will never release any account information to anyone outside of the necessary core groups that help our business function unless our customers give us the authority to do so.

Log Files…
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement and gather demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable sites. IP addresses may be used in fraudulent charge investigations.

Security Information...
SimplePort uses data encryption to protect subscriber data while in transit and does not save the subscriber’s data. The risk to subscribers is minimal, as PayPal and credit card information are not contained in the PayPal export file.  The most sensitive data, customer names, addresses and other contact information may be removed from the PayPal export file prior to importing by SimplePort (using Microsoft Excel to delete those specific columns).  

NOTE: Deleting customer contact information will prevent that data from being imported into QuickBooks.
